website being live, we've had an amazing 955 page hits! Phase 1,
which is currently up and running includes course details, our wall of fame
(student & graduate success stories) our run-way fashions, calendar of
events, our sponsors and industry affiliations, and much more. Phase
2, which will be up by end of November, will feature all our shows, since
2000, as well as our staff wall, more about our internship programmes, our
facilities and student life.
The label launch
Gert Johan Coetzee launched his new
label: GJC at a glitzy do @The Oxford. We got to join a
large crowd of celebitries, getting a glimpse of his latest range, from
casual to red carpet dresses. You can view more on his

Queen: Photo by Photo-graphy student Odette Swanepoel, Styling
& Model by fashion student Mothusi Dingalo. Odette won the
award: Best Commissioned work with this photo which forms part of her
Fashion Photo-graphy assignment, themed: TOWNSHIP TRENDS.
Odette was also awarded for BEST PORTFOLIO as well as BEST
PORTRAIT. Other winners were: Angelique van der Berg (Best
Landscape). Special-mention was made for Maggie Botes's news photo and to
Hans Bal for his landscape photo.
